Solar Installation and Compliance
Dear Owner/Resident
Please note the following procedure must be followed when installing solar or renewable
energy equipment.
1. Solar supplier to present a scaled plan of the front view of the panels on the roof.
(One-page A4).
2. Submit to the HOA Office for approval in accordance with Estate aesthetics e.g.,
solar panels to be flush with roof panels, water tank/solar panels combination on roof
not allowed. (Point 21.12 of the Architectural Guidelines – Alternative Energy
Systems).
3. Certificate of Compliance (COC) from installer to be submitted to the HOA – to be
placed on file.
4. Inform your insurance company.
5. Inverter and batteries – obtain a Certificate of Compliance (COS) from the installer
and notify your insurer.
